NEM.io Foundation recently announced the launch of its Taiwan hub, upholding its commitment to deliver and share local innovation and increase local access for blockchain adoption. The Taiwan hub aims to solve real world problems by establishing its presence in the country.
The Foundation is looking to gradually introduce blockchain technology to Taiwan’s financial and healthcare industries. The first application for adoption is Catapult, NEM’s 2.0 Version, a public chain that is inter-operable and shareable among different clusters of distributed ledger.
“After NEM has set up its Taiwan hub, we will assist more enterprises in adopting blockchain technology. We will channel our efforts towards blockchain education and talent development by looking for opportunities to collaborate with universities and enterprises in setting up incubation centers,” said NEM Taiwan Head Flora Fang.
